1k run at the third Junior beach competition of 2017

On the starter's signal of 'Ready, Steady, Go' competitors must pace themselves over a 1k course for Youth and Masters and a 2k course for Seniors.

The course will take place on flat tarmac, typically the beaches promenade and will require suitable footwear.

Typically the opening event of a Beach Twilight, the trick is to steady your stamina and run a marathon, not a sprint.
